help choose new small camera

I,m going to malaysia soon.

own a 4Mp sony dsc p9 - quite happy, but pictures not "great", especially indoors. i know this is a common failing in small digital cameras.

How do the sony T1/t3/t33 compare...new T7 coming in May i think. I like look, but is picture quality improved. Any other small digital recommendations?(£250-£300). Need to fit in coat pocket for on the go pictures.

I have just got a T33 to replace a very old digital camera and have been very impressed. Admittidally I am not an expert on cameras and so certainly cant say that it is better than everything else at this price point but it has met my requirements totally (which was a small camera for the pocket to take shots in the house/pub or the occasional close up)
