!! Help !! Canon XM1 + Bullet Camera advice please.

Evening all,

Just signed up here in the hopes someone could answer my question as no one else seems to be able to do.

I can't seem to find any archives about the Canon XM1 digital camcorder. Canon obviously isn't open at the moment and their site is all but useless for this model.

I got my father a bullet camera for his car as a xmas present and have got all the relevant wiring and so on. However, when connected up to the AV in which I believe it should be, the camera informs him that he should check the DV connection.

He can't make it work and it's a bit frustrating at the moment! Basically he wants to run the microphone and bullet camera into the xm1 to record video footage.

Thanks in anticipation.

James

Not one reply? Is this camera really rare then, and does anyone have any experience of plugging in extras to the AV socket?

Please?

Thanks

James
