Thanks: Gave 1, Got 2 | Tripod and head for £120 or less
I'm in the market for a decent tripod. Having bought a HAMA one from ebay when I started out, this has quickly become insufficient for my needs and I need some recommendations as to what I can get within my budget. I'm looking for something sturdy which will allow me to get down nice and low when required.
With so many to choose from I'm finding myself easily lost

Not sure if the offer is still going but if you become a member on TalkPhotography (am i allowed to mention them? ;-) you get 10% discount.
I put some pics up of the Ball head for another member awhile ago. http://davepearce.smugmug.com/galler...56843013_uKAVs

Thanks all, I'll have a look, is any particular model favoured on here?

The RS-283 is the one i have. Its the cheaper of the two. The other being the RS-284 which has 4 sections in the legs.
And for me the Ball head suited me better than the three way or Pistol grip.
