olympus e-520

hi,
i am thinking of buying an olympus e-520 and have come across a seller on e-bay selling this with both of the 14-42mm + 40-150mm DOUBLE LENS KIT for less than £400.00. They seem to be an american import, so would the spec be the same?, has anyone got any info please,
Markie

Re: olympus e-520

I got my E410 for £160 with the double kit so it is quite possible it isn't an import. If it is then you will need a two pin adaptor and I *think* there could be some issues with warrenty and customs. Hopefully someone else can clarify for you. I did import a panasonic FZ18 with no problems but have heard others say their good got seized and they had to pay duty on it.

Re: olympus e-520

Hi, I had the virtually identical beautiful e-510 and I loved using it and the feel of it. The only problem, albeit a big one was when I went to take a quick indoors photo the flash was awkward, strobed for ages before it fired, lost the pose.

I had to part with the camera and bought a Sony A300 instead (gr8).

Someone told me that this could be disabled, though I never seen how. Just check this out before you buy.
