A few queries about the Panasonic G1

Can any owners tell me?

What's the EVF like for people who wear glasses...useable? I know it has a dioptre adjustment but I would like to hear from users who wear glasses if you can get a good view of the whole EVF screen?...I read a review somewhere which found it poor for spectacle wearers just need to know if it's that bad as I prefer to use a viewfinder rather than the LCD display.

While looking in the EVF can you make an adjustment to say the exposure compensation or other parameter and see the difference immediately on the screen as you adjust it?

Do you get an audible focus confirmation beep?

Thanks.

Re: A few queries about the Panasonic G1

I can't comment on glasses as i don't wear them but i can confirm that if you alter the exposure it shows on the screen what the effect on the photo would be before you take it and that there is a audible beep on focusing (there is a beep volume setting which can but altered or turned off.. and there is a quite shutter sound when taking the actual photo)

But if im in say manual setting and put setting that would give a dark photo it doesn't seem to show on screen so if i had the shutter and aperture set wrong it shows on the exposure bar that it needs adjusting and flashes red when focused even though it does focus yet doesn't show a dark photo until after its been took.

I am new to the G1 so maybe you can set it up so when you alter the exposure and shutter speed it actually shows it on screen though it may be just me not having it set right being new to the G1 myself
