usb to usb mass storage bridge

has anyone used a device like the Ex-Pro USB Mass Storage Bridge which allows you to connect two usb devices to it and transfer data from one to the other without a computer?

i'm wanting to get something like this so that i can connect my dslr to one end and a portable hard drive to the other and transfer my photos at the end of each day to the portable drive while i am on holiday. will save me getting lots of memory cards!

any advice, experience, recommendations appreciated!
