Great pics, well done. The second one could be be a promo-photo for a horror-flick... how did you bring out the darkness in those clouds btw?

Re: Gulp! - two of my pics maybe going in the Chester Chronicle!

Just got this weeks chronicle and i cant find it - didnt make it. Oh well !

They where both captured by three exposes (using the Canon 450d AEB braketing) at -2,0,+2 levels. Then processed by Dynamic Photo HDR in which i dont really have a method (just move sliders until it looks good).

Might they still go in later or was it a special spread of local pics in this issue?

And thanks for the info/tips

Re: Gulp! - two of my pics maybe going in the Chester Chronicle!

Nice one Mark

I've just bought the Chester Chronicle as the Monkey picture from the Zoo is mine. Your shots are both looking good.

I've also just bought the Flintshire Chronicle as the monkey shot is also in that along with three other shots from around Flintshire

It's just a shame that the print quality of newspapers is so low. Your shots have got a lot more punch to them than the newspaper gives them credit. I particularly like the Bridge shot (which, by the way, is also in the Flintshire Chronicle!)

Cheers
Steve
