Norwegian Wood

The oldest wooden (Stave)church in Norway.
An incredible structure, more so from the inside, the only metal i could see was the door hinges and locks, every single joint was either mortice or dowl type.
Thought it needed cropping at the bottom, but there was just not the right place to crop it, so i left it all in

Re: Norwegian Wood

That's one impressive looking building, see what you mean about the crop .. looks like it needs one but difficult so see where.

Nice photo

Re: Norwegian Wood

Quite Impresive in its scale . A few close up pictures would have added interest though
Very picturesque
(pun unitended!)
And you were right not to crop it IMHO..It works for me as it is.

Re: Norwegian Wood

Nice shot of an amazing building.

Didn't you feel just a lttle tempted to strike a match and yell "who wants a BBQ then?"

Re: Norwegian Wood

Not like your typical church, looks quite demonic!
