An evening in Sandbanks
We went down Sandbanks for a Bar-B-Q with friends. Didn't have a Tripod so took a home made beanbag.
1. Setting up the seats.

2. People playing on the beach

3. Looked like it was going to be a good Sunset.

4. But it wasn't. So took these instead.

5. Brownsea Island

Re: An evening in Sandbanks
Supposed to be a bit pricey round there.
I like #2 for the composition.

Re: An evening in Sandbanks
#1 I like this the lady in the pic looks like she is swinging a golf club in this pic to me.
#4 I like this long exposure, you can get some great colours in the sea with these when you get a good sky.

Re: An evening in Sandbanks
I think number 4 is very nice. Number 2 would have been better without the bloke in the background (and I not just saying you should have focused more on the blonde....well...er....maybe I am ). Number 3 reminds me of an album cover...Hotel Dorset???...

Re: An evening in Sandbanks
Thank you all for your kind comments.
Some more from Sandbanks the other evening.
Click on small Photo for larger version.
6. Old Harry rocks in Background, ship sailing & people playing on the beach.

7. THis is where a faster lens & higher ISO would pay dividends, however I think it still captures the moment.

8. Ferry from France aproaching 'Old Harry Rocks' & the last few on the beach.

9. From Sandbanks looking over the Bay to Bournemouth with Stars & rising Moon on Right.

Re: An evening in Sandbanks
No's 3,4 and 5 from the first set and the last pic from the second set are great,i'm not saying the others are bad, they're too personal for my taste that's all
