A Flower
Took Steves advice and went out, got as far as the garden and bought this fellow back in for a photograph.
Taken with my 20 year old minolta 50mm 1.7 lens, well i like it

Re: A Flower
I didn't expect you to start ripping your garden to pieces!!
It's a nice simple photograph. What background are you using?

Re: A Flower
Just coloured card from from WH Smiths Steve in my home made light box that has no lights and not using flash.
I can change the coloured card very easily to what ever i want.
Might post a photo of it to give you laugh, technology, who need its

Re: A Flower
I like the simplicity of the shot, but it does look a bit soft to me

Re: A Flower
Had another go, going to have to stick it back in the plant in the garden before wife gets home, it was the only one in flower on the Clematis plant and she is going to notice if its gone
Hold on plan B , put it on the ground under the plant and tell her about the big blackbird that was having a go at the plant

First one wins Baz, the framing is just right. Good colours too.
