Winchester May Fest

Makes a refreshing change for all the concerns we see voiced here about the potential hassles of street photography.

Went into Winchester today, not knowing their was a "May Fest" folk festival on this weekend.

Rather than being hassled for street photography, I was almost being hassled to take photographs.

I am not into folk dancing, but what a nice bunch of people these were.

If they saw you were taking photographs...

They would stop and pose

Still on tomorrow if you live near.
An opportunity for some colourful photographs.

Unfortunately today was very dull and overcast and even a spot of drizzle in the air, so I had to brighten things up considerably in PP

Re: Winchester May Fest

A great opportunity for some nice street style portraits there. The last one could do with the facial area bringing up a touch as it's a bit dark. I did have a quick play and there is plenty of detail there.
