Waterfalls
Bought a new ND4 filter yesterday, and even though I got the wrong size ( 72 instead of 67mm ) I managed to get these off. Was just playing around with manual settings to try and get the best result - its only a first go so they are not perfect but and c & c welcome!!

Re: Waterfalls
Nice shots, would look good in HDR methinks, also would be nice to see more definition in the sky, have a look at the zone metering system....

Re: Waterfalls
Zone metering??? I have it set to 3d Matrix - having said that sky was just as it looks... plain white ( or should I say grey? )

Re: Waterfalls
Have you had a play converting these to B+W?
How many seconds exposure did you have on these pics? I'm trying to decide what ND Filter to buy.

Re: Waterfalls
Dazza - exposures were from 1.3 to 3 seconds with ND 4.
I found that the best detail on the water trails was with 2 secs or less - and more and you loose detail altogether
ND 8 would have therefore been wayy to much for me
Given my mornings work I would say the ND 4 gives you a bit more flexibility - not too slow - not too fast
