4 days late but....

I passed my driving test on hogmany

I should be getting a car tomorrow so I'll now be able to actually get places and take some more interesting shots rather than what my village offers me. Unfortunately the negative is that now I drive I won't be able to afford any new kit for a while, which is kinda poor considering I was in the middle of saving for a new flash.

Anyway, just thought id let you know. I'm pretty excited about driving, still to go out on my own though

Scharf.

Re: 4 days late but....

Congratulations, might be worth investing in a Sat Nav if you don't already have one. Although I've been driving a while I've found it invaluable getting out to places I want to photograph and it's given me more confidence to get in the car and visit them.

Good advice, also lets you waypoint placing to go again. If I get stuck for somewhere to go I consult the old GPS and go from there

Re: 4 days late but....

Congratulations
As steve said, now you learn to drive. Be carefull, a job I had some years back was a breakdown and recovery driver. I saw loads of youngster smash their cars up and unfortunately some fatalities.

A good present that some one could buy for you, is a day at a rally school or skid pad.

Hope you enjoy your new found freedom
