which is best, DMC-TZ3, DMC-FX33, DMC-FX55 or DMC-FX100
hi all, have been mulling over which compact to get and have decided on a Panasonic but can't decide on which model, i am leaning to the TZ3 as everyone says it's a good camera and i want a camera for general use ie holidays, trouble is i haven't really found many reviews on the other models so i don't know if they're better or not. i would really have liked a DMC-FZ50 but i think it's just too big for what i want, (small and compact which can be easily carried in a pocket and give good photos)
anyway, thanks in advance.

The FX33 is a great camera. Discrete, superb lens, loaded with features and the mooted AI feature which works everytime. Built very well, nice bright screen which can go into power mode too. Above all else, it takes great pictures.
The TZ3 is similar, does not have AI but intelligent only. The 10x zoom is a bonus, works well with a IS system, but the FX33 is a better camera imo.
Pete.

Heh I read about your reward and congrats on that count, but could you expand on this point please? From reading, bar the size and optical zoom on offer there appears not a lot to choose between Panasonics(?)... also consequently thoughts on FX33 vs FX55?

cheers all, you know, the more i look into it the more i just confuse myself, i thought it would've been quite straight forward, pick a camera and buy it, all i want is a camera that gives nice sharp pictures that a total beginner (me) can use, decisions, decisions, i used to be indecisive but now i'm not sure

Re: which is best, DMC-TZ3, DMC-FX33, DMC-FX55 or DMC-FX100
Just bought a DMC-TZ3 after reading all the rave reviews. This is the fourth digital compact camera I've owned over the last 5 years and thought this has to be the camera for me.
But I have to tell u in door photos in low light or even reasonable light using flash, pics quality are disgustingly dismal, very poor indeed, dont know how panasonic can get all the rave reviews with such crummy in door pics, skin tones like i never seen before, splodgle of oil paint like colours, way to dim, to red and very grainy, and most shots out of focus.
Am going to limit the ISO settings to see if that helps, but not expecting any miracles.
On the plus side I haven't tested it in bright light out doors yet, this is where this camera is supposed to excel, will have to wait for a bit of good british weather, but I've gone right off this camera already and I'm very dissapointed.
I've already ordered a fuji F31 FD (hard to get by the way) doesn't have the zoom of the panasonic but supposed to have excellent indoor low light performance.
