Not posted any shots for a while. Not really taken many for a while.
__________________Out and about locally with friends this weekend. Just took the camera and one lens as we were out for the walk and a chat really. 30D and 28-105 on Sat and put the 70-200 on for Sun. Still not using the 70-200 to it's full potential (alright, I mean I still haven't paid it off) but I do love it. So much sharper than my other lenses. On a walk around I find it gets used mostly at 200, no matter how far away the subject. Definitely a 1.4TC soon. Anyway. Here's the shots. Sculpture and backdrop at Otley Chevin ![]() Daragon fly from the back garden. It had been eating a wasp. ![]() Here it is, eating the wasp. You could hear the crunching. I thought that was always some overdub on the tv. ![]() Swan. Didn't like my mates 8mth old Springer much. ![]() Poser ![]() The swan ones were darkened a bit from the RAW but the others are from the camera. Deliberately underexpose about 1/3-1 now after learning how on another thread and I think the dragonfly ones show the difference. Swans and dragonfly are with the Sigma and I'm really impressed with the sharpness and DOF. Worth every penny I (haven't) spent. James. Ignore my member status. I'm not old and know very little. I'm just very opinionated and lonely. Canon 30D, Tamron 17-50 2.8, Canon 28-105 3.5-4.5 USM II, Sigma EX 70-200 2.8 APO DG Macro flickr Last edited by denno75uk; 27-08-2007 at 5:57 PM.
