I bought a Nikon 50mm 1.8 from them. Next day delivery with no problems.

Re: good deals from microglobe

I bought a 50mm 1.8 from them (no problems) and a Tokina 12-24mm.
The 12-24 was imported from Germany, as Tokina had ditched their UK distributor, and Microglobe phoned me when the shipment arrived.
The lens had a small mark on the front element when delivered, but they swapped it with no quibbles whatsoever.

I'm a very happy customer

Re: good deals from microglobe

Had a rather bad experience with these people. They charged more for delivery than stated - I didn't know how much until it turned up. They refused to refund me and I have resorted to using the credit card company to reclaim it.

The lens came without a warranty card. I queried this with them and they just said it was missing. I called Nikon who said they should contact their service dept to obtain another. When confronted withthis, they then finally admitted it was an import lens. They will offer a 12month warranty, but only back through them.

Would never use them again.
