350D Second-Hand Price?
Just wondered what you think I should be looking to spend on a 350D Second-Hand?
Been looking at ebay and not sure what sort of prices I should be maxing my bid at. Plus I made a wanted add in the Trading Forums but no one here is selling.

I recently got mine Second hand and £250-£270 seemed to about the price, I didnt really check ebay too much as most seem to be £300+.
Ended up finding a unboxed body for £140, pick up a kit lens (just to start) and Sandisk Extreme III 2gb and a Crumpler bag cheap from various places and it all came in at just over £200

Whooa if only I could find it anywhere near those prices. If I could get a 350D Kit for £250 I’d be more than happy.
Could you tell me where you got all your bits individually?

The kit lenses can be had on eBay for a couple of quid, seen them go for 99p.
The 350d is dropping in price and getting less available these days as it's been superceded by the 400d. Some online retaillers may have second hand stocks or even NOS so worth checking around.

Don't spend over £300 that's for sure, you can buy them new in the shops for around the £350 mark.

Hi,
Mpbphotographic sell second hand Canon cameras and they currently have a 350D +18-55 lens for £279 (plus del I think). Should give you an idea of current retail prices.
(I don't have any connection with site and haven't bought from them)

Thanks for your help so far guys.
You would not realise the hours I've spent on Ebay searching for a good deal. Half the auctions are priced too high by either "fake" bids or people that don't realise it's true value.
Keep the tips coming.
