[Build Log] Poison Ivy - Watercooled NZXT Switch 810 Gaming Rig

So this is going to be my personal gaming rig that i'll be building over the next couple of months. I'm going to start off by only watercooling the GPU with a 240mm rad, then moving on to adding a CPU waterblock and 360mm rad

Here are the specs that i THINK it should have

Intel i5 760
MSI P55 GD80
ASUS DCII Geforce GTX 580
8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz
60GB OCZ Vertex 2 (boot drive)
1TB Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EARS
OCZ ZS 750w PSU
NZXT Switch 810

Watercooling hardware:
XSPC Raystorm - One of the best CPU waterblocks out there, and doesn't cost a fortune
EK Acetal/Nickel GTX 580 waterblock - Looks really nice and is a full cover WB
Alphacool 5.25" Repack Single Bayres : Clear
18w Laing DDC Pump with DIYINHK PCB
Alphacool Laing DDC Plexi Pump Top
XSPC RX360 360mm Triple Radiator
XSPC RX240 240mm Dual Radiator
2m Clearflex 60 1/2" ID - 3/4" OD Tubing - Good, thick tubing, doesn't cloud
5x 120mm Corsair SP120 2350 RPM Fan
Mayhems Aurora Extinction Green Concentrate - Need i say why i'm using this? :D
Deionized Water
Various Compression Fittings

Other parts:
Black sleeved cables (8 Pin CPU, 24 Pin Motherboard, 2x 8 Pin PCIE)
2x 60cm Purple LED Strips
Lamptron FC2 5.25" Bay Fan Controller

If you think i've missed anything then be sure to tell me

Cable management isn't the best at the moment, since i'm going to be replacing the motherboard this week, as well as installing the sleeved cables i mentioned earlier.

Anyway, to get things started, here's a photo of the rig at this moment in time

Look what i got in the post today! I did have another set originally but they got lost in transit. It's a shame i don't have a GPU to plug them into...

A teaser photo until i get the other photos from my main camera Ignore the top SATA cable and the black wire trailing across one of the fans, it's just temporary for using my CD drive and means i don't have to mess with my cable management

New GPU is working flawlessly

Not too happy with the look of the sleeved cables so i'll be sorting that out tomorrow.

Added the LED strips

The photo makes them look quite pinky, when in fact it's actually a very dark purple/bluey sort of colour

So i got round to modding a bay adapter to mount the pump on, but so far, it hasn't been very successful.

Taped up, marked, and ready to drill

This is where the photos end because my drill ran out of battery before it got through the first hole. It was fully charged >.< Time to go and buy a new one...

Can't thank SpecialTech enough for the outstanding customer support!

My new parts were delivered the same day as they were dispatched. Can't get any better than that!

I'll be building the loop as soon as i'm back from college tomorrow! :D

To-do list:
Buy Raystorm
Buy 360mm rad
Buy Fan controller
Replace "purple" (very bluey) LEDs with either pink or UV ones (suggestions appreciated )
Make a PSU and rad cover out of acrylic (suggestions on what colour please )
Buy Mayhems Aurora Extinction Green
Mix Aurora and UV Green Dye to find an awesome colour!

New res

Everything remove from the case, along with a hard drive cage

Rad installed (easier said than done, had to take a dremel to the front part of the case as NZXT uses weird fan spacing.

Stock fan off

Apart from the superb quality of choice and execution, my only observation is that perhaps some of the pipe runs should be slightly longer so that the tubing exits the fitting in a straight line. Bending tubing so close to a fitting can in my experience put strain on the tubing which might lead to failure later on.
