Crashing PC.

HI All, I know this is almost impossible to diagnose but hey ho....

I built my latest PC about 5 months ago and had no problems...

What has started to happen is when using it, it will either just stop dead and the only way to get it back it to reboot it (sometimes even the reset button will not work and have to hold the power button).
Other times you will try to open a web page and you just get a spinning loading icon, if you try to open my computer it will show no drives, you can open the start menu but nothing will open. From here it will finally go white and lock up or sometimes if you leave it for a long time it seems to catch up and recover...
At first I thought it was the Graphics card as it seen to do it a lot when running video's but I have removed it and run on the built in GPU. It seems better but still does the same thing just not so often. I have also just upgrading the mainboard BIOS.
Any ideas,
Thanks Dave

Do you just have one drive connected (the Agility 3)? What firmware are you running on the Agility 3? Earlier firmware versions had issues and would disconnect while in use. Make sure you have installed the latest firmware.

the reset button not working is rather odd, its a hardwired break of the psu control line and will always work unless its faulty or the line on the mainboard is.
but before that are u absolutely sure you system is 100% malware free?

Hi Guys,
I have 3 other drives as well, sorry I should have mentioned them. I have just windows running on the SSD and all programs running on a HDD. The rest are just for storage as I do a lot for video stuff.

I have thought about the Agility firmware but the problem is it's my system drive and you can't update the firmware on a system drive. I have thought about using a USB caddie and run it through my laptop but was a but worried about doing it this way.
I have run full scans with both antivirus and windows defender and all seems ok, I've been quite careful since building this PC with what I have loaded onto it.
The reset button confused me aswell, I didn't think it was a direct link to the PSU though.
Thanks for your time.

Which firmware are you currently running on the Agility 3? You just need to follow these instructions to create a firmware update boot disc:

NEW! - Bootable tools for OCZ SSD's

You can't update with a USB caddy unfortunately though if you can connect it to another PC via SATA then you could update it.

There is a later version but 2.15 should work fine. If you are losing all of your drives then it is more likely to be a motherboard issue.

the opening of my computer hints it may be a drive access issue, try running a few hours with the spare drives disconnected
