I actually own one of the Logik WiFi radios. Got it as a Christmas present and contrary to opinions above I think it is great! It was easy to set up- just type in your wep code and it connected right away. There is a standard data base that is updated by
www.reciva.com used by many other similar products.
There are so many stations to choose from - many themed ie 70's 80's rock etc . Yes, you can use your computer but the point about this is you(and your family) can listen in the kitchen!
Another bonus is that you can listen to BBC "listen on demand programs". eg special programs on radio 2 and others can be replayed anytime if you missed it first time around. (and you can pause rewind all from the BBC server!)
AND.. wait for it.. if your fave station is not on the data base you can request it to be added to the general data base OR add your own favourite stations immediately to your radion using your computer.
Bad points- some times you get silence and a bufferring message comes up- we have all seen this on computers so its no big surprise. Depends on the internet connection to the station you are listening too.
No EQ - as all stations sound different depending on bit rate and Compression- MP3/WMA/Real there really should be some EQ to compensate..
Power supply could be better- faint hum.
Sound quality- better than many radios. Reasonable size speaker (mono) Power out about 4w rms. (transformer can get hot when playing loud!)
3.5mm jack for stereo out.
Did I mention you can play MP3 from your networked computer?
Best Christmas pressy for years!
Go for it - you will be impressed
