Just came across your post!

I have the cd unit, normal radio and extra speaker, no DAB.

The sound quality is awesome from such a small unit, and the build quality (solid wood) is better than any plastic trash!

Re: tivoli dad

I own a Tivoli iPal this has in built radio and i use it as a speaker for my MP3 player as well.
Battery life is very good and the sound quality is very good as well.
I tried other speakers but i was not happy with them as they disorted my music but the iPal sound quality is much better.
