I bought my first DMX-50 back in Jan 2006.
after about a year, the CD began skipping etc. no amount of cleaning solved the problem and all the CDs played fine elsewhere.
Pure replaced it. twice. the first replacement developed the same symptom.
when my second replacement went the same way (so that's DMX #3), they replaced it with a Legato II. that was just over a year ago (Feb 2009).
the same CD skipping fault has appeared in the Legato II now.
so I've been on to
support@pure.com, again, and they've just offered "another replacement, refund or repair" which is a very generous offer.

never had a problem with the radio side of any of the units.
now I have started storing my music on a Netgear ReadyNas Duo [see PS below], I'm tempted to go wireless, and am wondering whether Pure will do a deal on a Sirocco 550

PS Netgear's Tech Support is the polar opposite of Pure and is the reason I'll never buy a Netgear product again.
