Smile DAB Antenna

Living in Whitley Bay NE25 9AX DAB reception is week.
I intend to install a antenna on my roof to enjoy my DAB radio, where can I obtain information on the direction I should point my anntenna.

What stations do you want to listen to?
If it's the national ones, then a non-directional aerial may be best, as it recevies from all in-range transmtters at the same time. With DAB ( unlike analogue radio ), the signals add together constructively.

I stuck my aerial in the loft. I then attached a short co-ax and a portable DAB radio. I turned the aerial various directions and used the auto-tune and the radios signal strength meter to get the best direction.
