I have a Pure Evoke-2 which is approximately three years old. It has suddenly 'died' and I understand from Pure that parts are not readily available. They have offered to supply alternative models at a reduced cost but I feel it should be possible to repair my radio.

Any ideas, please?

Back in the day of discrete components and analogue operation that was a reasonable assumption. Today with custom chip sets, surface mount components and hardware significantly cheaper than an hour of any repair technicians time it is simpler and cheaper to declare the item beyond economical repair and replace it.
