Pure One DAB Radio - Stuck in Upgrade?

Help please!! I have a pure one DAB radio and on the display it is saying "Upgrade Any Key Exits", I have trawled the pure website for answers etc but still can't clear this. I have a USB lead and windows recognises the Pure Radio but can't install any drivers. Any help with clearing the message or links to software and drivers would be greatly appreciated!

Couldn't you install any upgrades via USB?

It could also be a bug. I used to own a Pure Avanti flow and had lots of bugs(freezing, unresponsive remote...) and often a simple reboot would fix the problem. So maybe just unplag it for a few sec. and then put it back on though I guess you have already that.

Thanks for reply, I have completely unplugged and its still coming up with the 'upgrade' message in the window..

I don't have any of the PC software so I cant clear the message or reset the radio......

suggests that you should download the firmware upgrade to your PC first and then "Connect the Pure One to your PC via a USB Mini-B connector" and upgrade from the radio's menu.

Tried that too?
I guess you could also reset but that means loosing stored preferences.

Yep, I read that one earlier, but I can't find the firmware or any other software..... Also the reset (hold the menu button for 3 seconds) doesn't reset the unit... unless theres another reset I don't know about ?

Here also the same bug is reported if you haven't seen that too.

I hope a Pure One owner will come up with a better suggestion later on.
If at some point you wish to upgrade to an Internet Radio I would recommend looking into a Squeezebox product and not a Pure. I switched from Pure Avanti to the Squeezebox Boom and couldn't be happier.

Thanks for trying, I'm only after clearing the message on the Pure One DAB.. Not internet Radio for now...

Anyone have any links to software or further information on how to clear the 'upgrade' message in the display?

I had that problem with a (relatively new) Pure One back in 2006. It was a hardware fault and the radio had to be replaced (under warranty). I've never had it with the replacement. I think you should contact Pure Technical Service.
