You could try a factory reset - this would clear the current station list and start from scratch. This will not necessarily ensure that there are no "not available" stations in the list though - during the station search, the radio only looks for signals, it does not test them to see if the signal is strong enough to receive the station properly - so in anything but a strong signal; area, you will almost always end up with some unusable stations.
To reset a Roberts radio, switch the radio power on and then press and hold the tuning control (you have to press it before the Roberts logo/name appears on the display) until the display shows "System Reset" - then wait until it has finished restarting, it should automatically re-scan for stations.
The downside to the reset is it also deletes any presets you may have entered, so you will have to re-enter those.
I guess the best workaround for the problem would be to make full use of the presets functionality on the radio, to ensure you can easily find the stations you know you can receive.
