Can any one help me with this...

Iam trying to connect an LG 42PQ30 plasma screen to an amx NI 3100 controller. I have mannage to connect other rs 232 equipments with the controller (extron switcher, dvd etc) using the rs 232 port. but the LG plasma seem not to respond.

Is there any switch or setting on the LG plasma to switch from service mode to comm mode on the rs232 port?

Any suggestions? thanks

Have you tried a crossover control cable? And make sure you have the correct module in your control processor to control this. Some components need to have the RS-232 port activated out of the box. I dont know that unit, but a call to LG should help resolve if its active or not.
