Lighting control over T&E!

I have been given a challenge!

A developer has three of four very large propoerties that have been installed with a lighting control system that has keypads cascaded in upto 10 rooms.

The problem is it is not reliable and needs replaces, on and the keypads are cascade wired in Twin & Earth!

Does the collective have any ideas as to what we could direct replace it with. Looking at Rako, but due to the construction wireless control could be iffy and there are people living in all the houses.

Thanks

V.

Re: Lighting control over T&E!

Helvar Digidim 458 range should do the trick - uses Dali for keypads that can use any suitable 2-core cable including twin & earth.

Speak to Simon McCune at Helvar for more info. Depending on the number of circuits & keypads it may require the Helvar 920 router (not required on systems with less than 60 control points). There is a recomended limit on how many keypads are connected in series and it may need an additional PSU to deal with this if there are *lots* of keypads but I reckon it is probably the only wired system likely to work with the current cabling.
