position of tv

well folk looking for your opinion.
where should i hang my 50" tv. i dunno whether to mount it above the fireplace or on leave it on a stand. if i mount it above fireplace will it be too high and a bit uncomfortable for long viewing periods. will it look too big and outta place-room is 4 meters X 4 meters. any opinons would be great or any photos would be class

Re: position of tv

Mine is mounted above a very tall fireplace, angled down into the room on a tilt bracket. It felt a bit strange at first but I like it there now, it's in a great position for late night movie viewing and it's well out of reach of the kids
