Hi Ismael,
I have an eighteen month old Philips 36PW9618 television. When I alter the volume there is no on screen display at all.
Please look for an e-mail.

In my 4 month old 32 PW9570 I have the option of displaying the volume bar. If your TV has the same option in the menu then do the following:
Menu > Setup > General > OSD (on screen display) > minimum (for no volume display) \ normal (for volume bar display).
hope this helps.
