TV Speakers upgrade for 36/32zp48p

Was wondering if there would be any benefit of upgrading the 4 satellite speakers on the 32/36zp48p.
I want to ditch my 5.1 amp and huge speakers as the Tosh has acceptable inbuilt 5.1 quality, in my compact and bijou apartement.
I wonder has anybody considered speaker cabling and speaker replacement. Obviously keeping in mind the speaker rating and pwr handling of the existing ones. On a budget though..............

Note: Otherwise maybe recommend small speakers that have a decent quality for my existing amp. Current speakers are 3ft things, great sound but just too damn big for a small living room.

you could go for an all-in-one speaker/amp package, or if your pushed for space, how about one of those yamaha sound 'bars'?
