Post Hitachi Service Menu

Hi folks,

I'd like to have a tinker with the geometry on my Hitachi C28WF530 - there's a very slight bend on the left hand side I'd like to try and rectify.

Can anyone tell me how to access the service menu to see if there are options to change such things. On my old Hitachi set you could access the menu by holding in the volume controls on the front panel and then turning the set on, but this doesn't seem to work.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Doug.

This may or may not work but try bringing up the standard menu. Then press both of the volume buttons.

Also try this link Hitachi Syndicate

This brings up an extra option or two on the menu with a frightening number of obsurely named options!!!

Re: Hitachi Service Menu

Probably Doug's TV has died (or perhaps Doug) by now.
However others may Google into this post.
I have a C28WF535N

You access the Service Menu by pressing both Vol controls on the set, for 5 secs. Then (still pressing) you press the Menu button(on the remote) for 5 secs.

Anyone worked out what all the 3 letter options mean ?

Thanks,
Rob (Australia)

PS
The picture is magnificent, it justs needs alignment (Left Right and Width).
If anyone has an idiot proof guide for just those adjustments, I would appreciate it.
My profile allows direct emails to me.
