JVC geometry setup

Hi all,

I've been googling this morning trying to find information on setting up the geometry for a JVC AV-28r250eks, but yeilding no results. I've checked the database in the sticky up there but that seems to be ignoring JVC for some reason (is that a clue ?).

Anyone got any info on getting to the appropriate menu for this ?

In case there's a solution Im missing here (KISS thought please, I'm not exactly what you call educated in the way of Home Entertainment - only last week reasilzed that switching my PVR (Tivo) and Sky Digibox to RGB gave me a better quality picture lol).....

Some of the screen is cut off the visable area of the screen (if you know what I mean). Eg channels with Dogs (eg Sky News) the clock up the top is only half visable .. as if the image to be displayed is stretch too much to fit into the visable area. I've tried fiddling with the various options for the display (16:9, 14:9, Full, Auto blah blah), but its not working out as I envisage.

Any info - greatly appriciated.

hi andy i can tell you how to get into the service menu but doing so can void your warrenty press info and mute buttons together this will bring up a menu with different options you want option 4 def this will let adjust the geometry of the tv but before adjusting anything in this menu write the settings on a peace of paper so you can always go back to them oh and set the zoom to full mode when adjusting settings.
