Another 28" IDTV Question

I have noticed all the big players have just released new models, and interested in getting one as my folks tv has just blown up.

28" only and around the £600 mark with IdTV inbuilt.
Ive got it down to these

Panny TX28DTX10
JVC HV28D40
SONY 28DX51

Has anyone got any of these and there views on the picture, im leaning towards the JVC for the Components and the number of Scarts. I looked at the panny and the shop model had alignment issues and already read the problems that these sets/others have.
The Sony is the dark horse, just not sure on them looks?
Not seen the JVC and Sony in the flesh yet as the local stores have not got them. John Lewis Bluewater is my next stop.
Thanks

I have the Panny you mention, and it too does have alignment issues. However, pretty much all the shop TVs of all makes I looked at did too. It seems that it's just pot luck with any model whether you get one that has no issues.

Other than geometry issues (which I still hope to resolve), I'm reasonably happy with the Panny. However, it took a few days to settle in (during which time I thought the picture was awful at times), and I had to fiddle about with the picture settings to get it how I like it.

See 50 or 100HZ and Tell it to me straight (please!) - is this normal? for more comments from me about the set and the problems I have experienced with geometry.
