Not economical to repair- a new tube & labour cost will probably be higher than a brand new 28" TV.

Just buy another TV.

Although it could be another fault, dry solder joint etc, which will be repairable.

Cool

You may as well put the price of one, to a new TV as if the tube has gone no doubt the other components will be going as well.

unless its a hi spec set under 12 months old a new tube is an uneconomic repair! TV's only have one tube and most use 3 guns so i would suggest you take it to a local repairer for an estimate, most will do free estimates!
