Panasonic TXW28R4DP with a pink screen

I have a Panasonic TXW28R4DP which jumps to a pink screen or horizontal lines in the bottom half of the screen. Both these condition can be cured sometimes by tapping the scart scoket area. A tv fixer told its probably the crt driver card p/n TNPBEH002 seems Panasonic don't do parts for this model any more. Can anyone help in diagnosing the fault or locating this card or locating the tube base drive card

Re: Panasonic TXW28R4DP with a pink screen

A quick check should be trying a replacement scart lead first or at least making sure its secure in the socket. It could be dry joints causing your problem which would need to be tackled by an engineer though.

Re: Panasonic TXW28R4DP with a pink screen

I have tried New Scart cables and the problem remains. even removing the scart cable and letting it run from coax doesn't help.
