Help Please - Moving abroad

I've just accepted a 3 year assignment in Barbados and i've been advised that my Phillips 32pw9576 TV will not work out there as although it can play NTSC images its tuner will not pick up the Cable/TV signals. Im told that some manufacturers make TVs that can work both in the US and Europe but I don't know what manufacturers and which models. Can anyone help please.?? Thanks.

Save a lot of hassle and buy a TV in the US or in Barbados. Dual system TVs a few and far between and will probably be ruined by the "shipping worker monkeys"

p.s. Lucky git!! Enjoy it!
