Static crackle on channel change

For a while i have noticed that when i change channel on my Loewe Mimo, there is a brief but audible static crackle coming from within the set. This doen't really bother me but i am now noticing it during normally viewing. Like on a channel change, it happens whenever the picture changes from something relatively bright to a dark on a full black screen. Depending on the difference in brightness of the image between the transition, sometimes it happens and others not. I thought that it might cure itself as the set settled down but it has not.
Any ideas?

I get exactly the same thing happening on my MIMO too. Any transition from relatively light to black will cause it, very similar to the sound it makes when firing up. This also used to happen on my old Philips too, although to a much lesser extent.

I think it's probably something we'll have to live with.
