Urgent!!

Just got my new double bed installed in my bedroom, and geuss what? It's too bloody high for my tv (Tosh 36ZD26P).

Any suggestions as to how I could safely 'lift' my TV up about 20-30cm, as this TV weighs a ton.

I was thinking of putting a block of wood shaped like the TV inbetween the TV and the stand. I don't want to put something underneath the stand as it's got that nice 'lip' at the bottom.

Also, anyone now of the colour of paint that matches the TV I should use for this modification?

Any help GREATLY appreciated/....

You could ask the companies who sell the large AV cupboards, they come supplied in a strong chipboard box, roughly 30cm (I got my box from one)

checkout my DIY subwoofer thread, a pic in there.
