I have a problem with THOMSON 21DM 183 TV, hope this the right area to post query.
Kids have destroyed remote and I want to switch TV on using controls at front of TV.
Red LED light is flashing, so I presume that it is locked in someway.
I have tried just about every combination of MENU, PR-, PR+, VOL- & VOL+ to start TV, no joy!
Now I find out that THOMSON no longer post any detail on web as they are no longer trading.
Thsi not main TV so not urgent....thanks in advance for any help, suggestions of "bin it" may be accepted if no other alternative!

The set has its "Child Lock" set...it can only be released with the original or compatible remote.
Doing a Google search for "Thomson 21DM183 Remote control" should bring up a few UK suppliers.
