Panny 32pl10 picture quality

I've got this tv and for some reason i keep getting what looks like interference through my sky box. Sometimes it is unbelievably noticeable especially on eastenders. I only seem to get it on sky, though i may get it very slightly on dvds as well.

Has anyone experienced this?

Sort of like the interference you get on analogue tvs, but not exsctly the same. Its sort of like shimmering/shaking white lines across the screen. It doesn't seem to be the sort of typical digital interferecne you get ie. not pixellation or blank screens, but almost like the analogue interference.

I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this on sky, whether they have this tv or not.

Have you got an analogue terrestrial aerial plugged into the TV at the same time?If so,try unplugging it to see if the interference goes.

yes i do, but unplugging it doesn't make a difference.

I am thinking it is my sky, but it is strange for the probelm just to start when i get a new tv. But i don't seem to get it on dvd'd or videos. just sky.

Try tuning to a non tuned analogue channel and then switch back to Sky.

wayne, i've done that, doesn't work.
I am really getting frustrated as it is ruining an otherwise perfect picture.
Is there anyone out there who has experienced anything like this?

How good is your Sky signal ? Try checking the Signal strength and Signal Quality [go to Services > System Setup] If your "signal quality" is well under halfway, it might be worth getting someone in to check your dish alignment.
Also, you could try changing Scart leads around to see if it makes a difference.
