Finlandia TV,NTSC compatability

A relative has an old Finlandia tv that has a scart socket and does RGB,I am right in thinking that as long as a tv does RGB then NTSC compatability isn't an issue with region1 discs?

Yes, I've also got an old Finlandia with RGB scart (now relagated to spare room since buying of New Tosh). R1 discs supported in both scarts either with S-video or RGB.
