Pioneer 656a Geometry

Hi all,

Just got a Pioneer 656a, and everything is OK, except for the picture geometry. I need to move everything about 2 inches to the right, and an inch down. Anyone know how to get into the Service Menu on these, or is there another (safer) method?

Any help appreciated.

Let me guess... You've connected to your TV using fully wired SCART and set to RGB output? Sounds more like you're experiencing RGB shift which is an issue with your (well, not just your, most) TV set(s). I get the same thing on the portable i've currently got my 656a plugged into.

Hmm, not heard of that one. It didn't happen with my previous Sony 525 DVD, and that was set to RGB, same as this one.

Edit: Actually looks like you might be right. It does shift when setting to RGB. So that's it is it? Just a fact of life?
