RGB Shifted Picture

I own a Hitachi 28" Widescreen television. The picture quality is excellent especially given the price I paid for it. The only gripe I have about the picture is that when I have my DVD player output an RGB signal (usually use S-Video) the picture gets shifted to the right by a couple of inches. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening? I know how to access the service menu but I'm scared that I may break something.

I've got a Hitachi WS 28" too (CL28WF530AN), and I have experience with the service menu, which I expect to be very similar to yours. Apart from the RGB shift, I corrected a pincushion effect.

I made a doc about how to use the service menu (incomplete, but more than enough for correcting the horizontal shift)
