Sony Kv36fs70

I have recently purchased this tv but am suffering from dark patches in the top corners when watching both tv/video and dvd.

The patches are only visible on light colours such as sky, white, ligh pastel colours and are about 3 inches in diameter.

I have been told this is my ariel but if this was the case then i would not get the patches on dvd.

Can anyone help please ?

do you have separate speakers? This can happen if speakers are too close to tv.

The tv is connected to the Sony DAVS550 surround system but the speakers are well away from the tv

I'd advise you to go back to the shop where you bought it from, as this is a cracking TV and should not have this problem.
