kv32fx66u fault

Hello,

My Sony kv32fx66u TV has just switched itself off and now wont switch back on.

The power led is flashing twice every few seconds, any ideas what might be wrong with it?

Thanks

David

Re: kv32fx66u fault

The most likely fault with this set is that the line output transformer is faulty. If you are lucky, another fault that causes twice flashing leds is R6019 a 390k resistor open circuit, removing the main ht supply from the line stage.

Re: kv32fx66u fault

It's not the resistor

Where can I get hold of a Line output transformer? Or will it be something else?

Re: kv32fx66u fault

It's definately the LOPT.

The part is no longer available from sony, seme or as a cross referenced item.

Does anyone have one "laying around" I could purchase?

The sony part number is 859887110

You'd be better off quoting the actual number printed on the label of the transformer.

Re: kv32fx66u fault

Ok the numbers printed on the LOPT are as follows.

Line 1 - 20E 02 T045
Line 2 - 8-598-871-10
Line 3 - NX-6020//Z

Does anyone have a working one of these laying around ?
