I think it is safe to say that such a thing no longer exisits. There are a few CRT sets available in supermarkets like ASDA. From what I have seen these are usually poor quality and generally 16:9. If you are looking into the secondhand market you may pick up a bargain as people are dumping CRTs for flatscreen sets. However, much of this market is widescreen. Any 4:3 sets kicking around would probably be quite old by now. That is not to say that they would be unusable, but they might lack some of the finer points of modern sets and, unless they have SCART sockets, would be redundant when the digital switchover comes into force. The other thing you need to consider is the availability of spare parts to repair older sets.
