TV picture jumping to the side

Lately my TV picture has been jumping to the right side of the screen leaving about a quarter of the screen black with the picture very slight in the background, its a Samsung 23" standard (non LCD) and about 4 years old, is this a problem that can easily be sorted?

Turning it on and off usually sorts the problem but that obviously isn't ideal.

Re: TV picture jumping to the side

You need to report back with the model no taken from the rear label if you want any sort of meaningful reply.

Re: TV picture jumping to the side

Sorry its the CZ-21A083N

Also I have just noticed the problem usually starts when flicking over channels, if its left on the same channel, it seems to be fine.

It's a relatively common fault on this KS1A chassis and is usually fixed by replacing 1 capacitor and a resistor in the line drive circuit.
Worth repairing and shouldn't be that expensive.
