55" Toshiba Rear Projection TV *HELP*

I bought this TV in 1995/6? and as others have said in this forum, 'it was one of the best purchases i've ever made'
HOWEVER....... It has developed a fault
The left hand third of the screen now has what looks like a convergance problem. the remaining two thirds is still perfect
I would have thought that if it were a worn tube then the problem would be over the whole screen so i'll rule that one out for now.
Local TV repair men (northamptonshire) don't know much about RPTV's so I thought I'd start here
1. Anybody know of this fault?
2. Does Toshiba have a tech department/website/telephone no?
3. Does anybody know of a firm with the skills to fix RPTV's in
my area (i live in Rushden Northamptonshire)
