Check the name of warranty provider, you may find no local service agent / dealer will honour it or be interested in helping.
If you have to return your television to the online dealer for service, expect frustration.

Domestic & General are the main providers of extended warranties and pay service agents better than average rates, so you may be luckier finding a repairer to help if it is a D & G policy.
You will also save money if you buy your warranty straight from D & G directly rather than through a dealer.

Saying all that, if you buy your tv from a mail order dealer it seems most dealers will refer you back to them for service these days. The honeymoon is over.

Whether you should buy a warranty ? Only you can decide that...
